The Aero PVR software is required to extract the video file created by the DVFAR‐II, from the compact flash card.
The reason for this is that the DVFAR‐II offers playback while continuing to record without loss. To achieve this, the file being written to the card is embedded into a codec that is required for playback. The AeroPVR software is used to recognize the DVR format and extract the file to a PC.
